कभी किस बात को लेकर, कभी बेबात लड़ता है
झगड़ना, रूठना, लड़ना भी चाहत की निशानी है
मैं उससे प्यार करता हूँ वह मुझसे प्यार करता है
वह हँसता है तो लगता है की नदियाँ खिलखिलाती हैं
तबस्सुम ले के उसकी फूल-कलियाँ मुस्कुराती हैं
दिवाली का उजाला है, है उसमें रंग होली का
वह सावन की फुहारों सा मुझे सरसार करता है
कुछ ऐसी वख्त की मजबूरियां हैं, मिल नहीं पाता
मुसलसल रात-दिन चलता हूँ पर मंजिल नहीं पाता
मैं थकता हूँ तो उसकी याद की थपकी सुलाती है
वह मेरे दिल में रहता है, वह दिल के साथ रहता है
मैं वह भंवरा न जो हर फूल-पत्ती देख ललचाता
हर एक तितली के पंखों पर हमारा दिल नहीं आता
बिठा लूँ उस जगह कैसे किसी भी ऐरे-गैरे को
जहन पर मेरे दिल की दुनिया का सरताज रहता है ?
